The automatic sync process backs up your annotations (notes, highlights, saved passages, book ribbons, tags, and categories) from your device to your account on OliveTree.com. Automatic sync allows you to access your annotations on your other devices by syncing. It also saves your annotations, so you can perform a sync on a new device or on a new installation of your Study Bible app to restore your annotations.
To turn Automatic Sync Off or On, tap the menu icon in the upper left corner and choose 'App Settings'. Then toggle the switch next to the Automatic Sync Option.
